5 Weeks Already!

The Best Sleep Is Always At Nana's
It's hard to believe 5 weeks have already passed. It's been busy that's for sure. We went up to Oklahoma to spend a couple of weeks and had a wonderful time. It was good to see Granny and have her meet Astoria for the first time.

We celebrated Olivia's 1st birthday (really hard to believe) in an exquisite fashion. With over 50 people in attendance it's great to see how much support Meredith has in raising her beautiful daughter. Olivia is crazy but one of the happiest babies I've ever seen. She loves Astoria and is always trying to give her kisses. For her birthday Olivia got a pink car to ride in and Meredith figured Astoria would like to ride with her (in the storage compartment of course). I think Astoria had another opinion.

It was very difficult to leave my family. Rex met us halfway on Sunday (my first Mother's Day) in Ardmore. I have a feeling it will always be hard to leave knowing my family will miss her getting bigger. Rex did a wonderful job for a first Mother's Day. I had a dozen roses waiting and some coupons for a free night out, dinner, babysitting and other wonderful things.

We went in for a check up today and she's weighing in at 7lbs 12ozs so we are growing bigger every day! We've outgrown the preemie clothes and fit into some of the newborn clothes however most are still to wide. We are still battling the reflux and lots of crying in the evening. It's been very trying.

Unfortunately today the doctor diagnosed Astoria as having a bronchial cyst on her neck. He said it doesn't seem to be hurting her and likely it's just a cosmetic issue that will be removed when she gets older. However he's referring us to an ear, nose, and throat doctor. We have our appointment on Wednesday. Keep us in your prayers as we find out the diagnosis.
