Retiring the Onezie

Memorial Day 2009

4th of July 2009

Labor Day 2009

How much we have grown! Astoria turned 5 months old this weekend and even though it's a newborn onezie we can still fit in it. This will be the last holiday we can wear it however as we've almost outgrown it's length. This weekend was a good one, Nana and Pops came for a visit. Astoria had no problem going to Nana and loved to look at Pops (getting close to him was a different story). They were both amazed how much she has grown and developed a personality all her own. She 'talked' up a storm all weekend and had good nights (aka we slept all the way through). I'm thinking she's around 13lbs now. She's started eating a bowl of oatmeal mixed with either applesauce, sweet potatoes, or avocados before bed each night. Bedtime has changed to around 7:30pm and she's been getting up around 6:15am. She's still drooling up a storm but there aren't any signs of teeth just yet. She also loves to roll over and over and over. Funny thing is, she only rolls one way which turns out to be pretty unfortunate because she often finds herself up against a wall and can't go the other way to free herself. She's become a wonderful baby who loves to smile at any stranger (just like her daddy) and loves being outside (just like her momma). We are (knock on wood) officially past the colicky stage of babyhood!!
